Island Brochures

Most of the island is covered in a dense tropical jungle, especially inland.  There are paths leading into the jungle from town.  It's recommended you stay on the paths, because it can be easy to get lost in here.


 

On the northernmost point of the island is a shoreline where gatherings take place.  A fire is lit and logs are arranged all around.  Usually, contestants are brought here to be told next week's Challenges, or to have winners and losers announced.  It's a long hike from town to here.

Behind the Arena is a flat area of dirt, dotted with trees.  Typically, because of the open and isolated nature of the place, it is used for training, especially combat training.

The Arena is a large but decaying colosseum in the middle of the jungle where some Challenges are done.

Not far from the Gathering Spot is a private little lagoon.  This place can serve as a good spot to find some sanctuary, given how far away from civilization it is.

At the dead center of the island, in the middle of the rain forest, looms the stone tower of the Game Master.  Supposedly, this is where they and their Execs spend their time when they are out of sight from everyone else.  It is high on a cliff with only one gated entrance.  In addition, there is an enchantment on the tower that will summon giant beetles to repel any hostile intruders.  If the Game Master doesn't invite you, you're probably not getting in.

The Game Master provides housing for all the Teams on the western side of the island, about a mile away from town.  This cluster of houses is built right over the edge of a rocky shoreline.  Each Team's cluster of houses is separated by a several hundred foot path with a small open area at the center.

Housing for the wands features wooden walls and thatched roofs.  The buildings are decorated with burning torches and hundreds of tiki statues.

A large open deck serves as a common area for the Wands.  There is a large fire pit at the center of the deck, perfect for nighttime entertainment and impromptu cooking sessions.

The Wand's bedrooms are often located on the upper floors and are well lit with several windows.  Most all furniture is wooden or wicker.  The rooms are decorated with different animal pelts.

Behind the Wands housing is a small sunflower field.  These towering yellow flowers somehow seem to provide enhanced drive.  A walk though the sunflower field can cure a bad case of procrastination.

The Pentacles enjoy a large estate with all the comforts of home.  This area is surrounded by trees and is shaded all day and is decorated by numerous flowering plants both outside and inside.

This common room is outdoors and closely surrounded by vegetation.  It is a wooden deck with ample comfortable furniture and a large bookcase in the nearest room for reading material.

All bedrooms are simply decorated and have large windows on all sides in order to view the greenery outdoors.

A small garden grows out back of the Pentacles housing.  It has a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs.  It is rumored any dish prepared with produce from this garden enhances physical strength.

A modern apartment complex built closest to the cliff-side.  Swords housing has the most advanced appliances and technology, making everyday tasks easier and more enjoyable.

A clean room in the lobby of the building is the common room for Swords.  It is vary open and spacious with quirky furniture and bean bag chairs galore.

The Swords bedrooms are neat and well organized, with space for customization.  Each bedroom has a small on-suite restroom.

A private cliff behind the Swords housing gives the perfect view of sunsets on the ocean.  Observing the sky here enhances one's focus and can be the gateway to inspiration and enlightenment.

The Cups housing is a cozy little place that enjoys ample sun and their own private falls.  It is a warm and intimate area with plenty of decorations, such as house plants, drapes and custom made crafts.

An elaborate decorated lobby is the Cup's common room.  It is quiet and relaxing, filled with cushy couches and throw pillows.

The Cups bedrooms are simple and sweet to contrast with the rest of the house, which may be overstimulating.  The walls of the bedrooms each have a unique mural painted on them.

Behind the Cups house is a small private waterfall that flows into a hot spring pool.  Wading into these pleasant waters provides a calming and healing effect.
