RAP has a fairly chill activity policy as I am aware that many RPers have other commitments and writer’s block to deal with that may lead them to be slow. Admin is one of those RPers. I came up with this activity policy to try to be fair to the players here, slow and not-so-slow.
- Try to shoot for posting IC once a month. One post per character a month ideally if possible. However, there will be no formal activity checks.
- If you anticipate slow or no activity for a while for any reason, you’re encouraged to keep everyone in the know by posting in the hiatus/disappearances thread.
- Please don’t bother other players for replies until at least a week has passed.
- You can hang on to BGs and OCs indefinitely.
- In the case of canons however, it is possible to have them force dropped due to no activity, in order to be fair to others who want to pick up a particular canon.
- Should you be interested in a claimed canon and this canon has not posted IC for at least a month and their player has not given notice of a hiatus, please message Game Master to let me know you’re interested in this canon. Game Master will then contact this canon’s player; I’ll let them know of the interest in that canon and likely give them a period of time (probably a couple weeks or so) to post IC for that canon before they are force dropped.
- In the case of force dropping, Game Master will contact the original player and the player interested in the canon to inform them of the force drop. The new player MUST fill out their own app for that canon! The old app will move to a folder for dropped characters.
- Unless another player has expressed interest in a particular canon, canons may be held onto indefinitely. So if you want a claimed canon that has not posted for a long time, you must contact Game Master because they will not be force dropped otherwise!
